Privacy Policy

Last updated · June 2025v3.2

This Privacy Policy explains what information Dora Station (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects when you use Dora Station OS across web, mobile, desktop, console, and any future surface, how we use it, and the choices you have.

01

Information we collect

We collect information necessary to operate Dora Station, keep you signed in across devices, and improve the games and experiences inside it. This falls into three buckets:

  • Information you provide — operator name, email address, password (stored as a salted hash), profile preferences, and any content you create or send through Cozy Dora.
  • Information collected automatically — device type, operating system, app version, IP address, language, time zone, crash diagnostics, and basic gameplay events such as session length and progression milestones.
  • Information from partners — purchase receipts from payment processors, sign-in tokens from identity providers (e.g. Google, Apple), and abuse signals from anti-cheat services.
02

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve Dora Station and the games inside it.
  • Authenticate you and keep your operator ID synced across devices.
  • Process purchases, refunds, and Station Pass entitlements.
  • Diagnose crashes, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service.
  • Send transactional notifications and, with your permission, optional product updates.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the contents of your private messages for advertising or for training machine-learning models.

03

Sharing and disclosure

We share limited information with carefully selected service providers who help us run Dora Station — for example cloud hosting, payment processing, crash analytics, and customer support tooling. These providers operate under contractual obligations to protect your data and may only use it on our behalf.

We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, to protect the safety of operators, or in connection with a corporate transaction (such as a merger or acquisition), in which case we will notify you in advance.

04

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise these rights from the Profile screen inside the app, or by leaving a review on the App Store or Google Play referencing your account.

You can also withdraw consent for optional processing (such as personalized recommendations) at any time without affecting your ability to play the core games.

05

Data retention

We keep your account information for as long as your operator ID is active. If you delete your account, most personal data is permanently erased within 30 days. Some information may be retained longer where required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or backup recovery.

06

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256), least-privilege access controls, and routine security reviews. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep yours safe.

07

Children

Dora Station is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

08

International transfers

Dora Station operates globally. Your information may be processed in countries other than the one you live in. We use appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, where required by applicable law.

09

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date above and, for material changes, notify you inside the app before the changes take effect.
